"CHANGES AND CHALLENGES: EXPANDING HORIZONS IN ELT

The convention will explore how approaches to the teaching and learning of English are changing and developing in order to meet the challenges faced in Classrooms around the world, such as the adoption of new technologies, the rapid increase of bilingual education and content language integrated learning (CLIL), collaborative learning, class management, diversity, large groups, and intercultural issues. This year’s presentations and workshops will enable us to provide a forum for examining how new and traditional methodologies are explored in order to adequately cope with the demands of learners in an ever-changing world, as well as those presentations which will be of general interest for language teachers working in different teaching sectors with students of all ages."

How do you feel when you are told about a new technological gadget to make your teaching 'easier'? But, do you remember the days when chalk was our only resource? In this hands-on workshop, you will use and produce materials with a portable interactive whiteboard for CLIL lessons and I can promise you will enjoy the process.
